How has the Kitchener Waterloo commercial real estate fared?
In March 2010 there were 8 sales on the MLS, and these sold properties were listed between $39,899 and $3,300,000 and represented a mixture of multi tenant properties, businesses in leased premieses, user occuped land & buildings, triple net leased space and more.
On the larger end of things, properties are selling for between $32 and $42 a square foot, depending on the quality of the asset, the income produced, and the location.
Student Housing
In March, 10 properties near the WLU and UW in Waterloo sold, ranging in list price from $257,900 to $649,00.
Price per bedroom of the student rentals ranged from $52,000 for an older property further from campus, to $74,800 per bed for student housing right between both schools
